Our sandals are designed to improve with wear. The natural tanning process means leather will become softer and change to a richer, darker color with wear and age. Please keep in mind that each pair is made by hand and the leather used can present unique characteristics and therefore vary between pairs.
How do I properly care for my sandals?
Our sandals are not waterproof, therefore we do not recommend wearing your sandals in conditions where the shoe will be submerged in water. Natural vegetable tanned leather tends to discolor and if left to soak and dry it will become less supple and harder. Clean with a soft damp cloth. Be aware that some shoe care products may darken or discolor the leather; you can't cover up or polish over natural vegetable tanned leathers.
